Introduction After graduating from University of Sunderland in 2004 with a BA hons. in Illustration & Design I set myself up as a self-employed artist/illustrator in a range of media and subject, though mainly wildlife. To date I have completed large scale commissions for the RSPB, Tesco and Gateshead Council, and had a 4 year run of cartoons in the prestigious BBC Wildlife Magazine. My quirky wildlife paintings and sketchy man-made subjects have sold extensively in Galleries across the region, and internationally on-line. In 2015 I was proud to be a joint-winner of the Alice in Sunderland competition run by the MAC Trust in my home town. Today my characterised artworks are on sale exclusively at the North East Art Collective Gallery in Eldon Gardens Newcastle, while I'm currently learning techniques in ink and watercolour to improve my Urban Sketching and insect illustration.
