Gender Male
Location Louisiana, United States
Introduction I was born near Donaldsonville, Louisiana a few decades ago. As a boy, I collected drifting wood from the Mississippi River, and I sawed it up for firewood and for wood burning stoves. I had seven uncles who all pursued different crafts to make a living, and they taught me a great deal about machines and tools. I developed a love and appreciation for "orphan vehicles" while working at Matassa Motors in Donaldsonville, in the Fifties. In 2001, George Thompson and I completed one of our most unique projects-a 1938 Chevrolet street rod, which was shown on "My Classic Car" television program. It was shown as a lead-in shot at the beginning of every program for almost a year. I have over thirty years of auto restoration and street rod experience. I am a member of the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club, and a lifetime member of the Studebaker Drivers Club.
