Introduction I'm a mostly SAHM to Audrey (3 years old) who was diagnosed with failure to thrive (FTT) at 1 year caused by then unknown reasons. She was hospitalized for 2 weeks and came home with an NG tube (a feeding tube through her nose). Eventually she was diagnosed with severe congenital kidney abnormalities that required corrective surgery. She was able to get off the NG tube shortly afterwards and is now healthy and developing normally. We are a naturally minded, attachment parenting family and this caused a lot of difficulty in regards to treatments and working with the medical professionals. I originally started this blog as an easy way to update friends and family of Audrey's case but I know include a variety of other topics, often with a controversial twist.
