Interests Making things up and writing them down, Union volunteering - mostly with Strathclyde Fusion but also a little Telegraph writing as well, music (although I'm better at appreciating it than performing it), reading, partying, nights on the tiles, acting, comedy, singing at the top of my voice for no reason (my life is a musical...or perhaps an episode of Glee), having a laugh with friends, going into the technical sides of music theory, computers and narratives and pretending to know what I'm yammering about, eating sugar cubes from the bowl even though they're meant for cups of tea, faffing about on the internet for no apparent reason, meeting people, swimming, Scrabble with my granny, travelling, blogging, linguistic discussions with loved ones, singing, cooking (I do it...honest), buying things whether I need them or not, scoffing pre-made sugar cubes from the bowl, vegging out, daydreaming, lie-ins, learning Japanese, extravagant prevarication, reading the backs of cereal boxes, collecting things, tweeting (what do you mean you don't care about when my last bowel movement was? How very dare you), Idents, Linguistics, Really Good Books, Ned-Bashing, Trivialities, Useless Information, Useful Information, Procrastination, Wikipedia, Retro stuff, Love and other four letter words, Japanese, Those few people I feel privileged to call my true friends, My family, Mythology (particularly Greek.
