IntroductionI was born 1961 under the star sign of Aries the Ram. I am married with no children and 5 grandchildren. I trained in Natural Health and ran my own business in complementary medicine for 5 years, giving this up to concentrate on my job in psychiatry as a Technical Instructor, teaching IT, Art and Crafts to adults with mental health issues, where I enjoyed a renewed interest in all things Arty Farty and Crafty Dafty. I was redeployed into a clerical job, which did not fulfil me; I left to take up an MA Art Therapy course at the University of Chester. I was assessed as dyslexic aged 47, and found my Masters course to be quite a challenge, so I left the course to enjoy some creative time in my studio. I volunteered for Age UK for 3 years, facilitating an art group, which kept me involved in art and working with people. I have since moved on to working in the craft department of a large garden centre, where I carry out the usual shop assistant duties, working with people and being a little crafty. I gave up my studio, last year, so my creative materials are now stuffed in my garage. I hope you enjoy visiting my blog. This profile was updated on 27 July 2019
