About me

Introduction	Dave and I were born and raised in Maine. Even though we met and dated in 1967, we didn’t ‘reconnect’ and get married until 1973. Within two months after marriage, we moved to Annapolis, Maryland. In 1986 when we moved back to Maine with our 4 year old son, Christopher. Our second son, Mathew was born a month later. All the time we were employed, I worked as a Registered Nurse specializing as a certified Occupational Health Nurse and Dave worked for the same corporation for over 33 years as a Program Manager and Field Engineer. We feel blessed to live in and enjoy this lovely country. We enjoy the daily warmth and our new found like minded Gringo friends along with the wonderful native Costa Ricans. It is with great sadness that I inform you of Raylene's passing. Although she is gone her work with the escuelas will go on. She is deeply missed by me, her large family, friends and of course the children of the escuelas.
