| Introduction | i love aloneness and silence. i let the wind play with my hair and climb mountains just to pick flowers and take in the sky. i love sunshine and walking in the rain and am a romantic at heart. i cry- for my sin, for orphans, for hungry children and homeless women, for a world that runs from the only One who could make it truly happy. i pray about ways to reach prostitutes and feel at home in the inner city. i love art and poetry and basketball and competition and writing and debates and hymns. a piece of my heart is in africa. i'm homesick a lot, for oklahoma and heaven. i would rather burn out than rust out and i pray for the grace to be counted worthy to suffer in His service. i want to go to the hardest place and do the hardest thing for the glory of my Savior. i love to love people, to incarnate for them the love that has changed everything for me. i want to straight-up be a Christian. i want to count for the Gospel. i want to joyfully give my life away so that other people can know the God Who wants to give them Himself. i know i want to be a part of all the nations being blessed in Christ Jesus. |
