| Introduction | My husband and I purchased some cutover acreage in central Georgia about 10 years ago. We originally just wanted some hunting property. But once we started working with the land we became very interested in protecting it and the wildlife that lived on it. We joined the Stewardship program and started learning about the many facets of land management. I wrote a book, Matters of Life and Dirt, about our experiences. We learned a lot from various sources; however, we still have many questions. I’m hopeful that this blog could become a forum for the sharing of information among small landowners. Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions. And perhaps I might be able to answer a question that you have. |
