| Introduction | Working at a library is an ideal job--the world at your fingertips in a wonderful atmosphere. I even come here on my days off and when I am on vacation--am I crazy? Yes--crazy about libraries and learning. When I am not at the library I can usually be found outside walking year round, or cross country skiing. My avatar looks just like me (when I started working at the library 25 years ago!). |

| Favorite movies | "Grease" has been a favorite. When my neighbor gal and I were younger and each had four small children, a day out without the kids was a rare event. On one of these days we went to "Grease" at the local theatre and had our fill of pop and movie butter-slathered popcorn. We enjoyed it so much we went back and watched it a second time--a fun escape from reality! It is one of the few movies I've liked well enough to watch again. |
| Favorite books | The Tale of Despereaux, a story of a brave little mouse. Granddaughter Grace and I read it on a trip together. Not something I normally would have picked up on my own, but someone recommended it to me and it has become a favorite read. I also enjoy studying the Bible and have about 20 versions (yes, I admit it--I am a book addict!). |
