| Introduction | I was born and raised in the southern UK. Spent a lot of time on and around golf courses, since my father is a golf writer. Even considered becoming a golf pro. Became a mod, bought a Lambretta TV175 and a parka. My mother, an amazing baker, taught me how to cook, haven't stopped since. Studied Graphic Design, Typography, Photography and Illustration in college, and after a brief stint as an Art Director in a London agency I followed my father to the US and started working on Madison Avenue, at the end of the 'Madmen' era. Had the good fortune to work in some great agencies, building some great brands. I've also been fortunate to work with many great writers, artists, illustrators, designers, typographers, editors, directors, photographers, and a few incredible clients. To help keep sane in this crazy business I exercise a lot, ran track for my club, and many marathons, I also trained in Seido Juku a traditional form of Japanese Karate for many years. And after injuries from both, I now like to road bike as much as I can. I live with my wife Dana, and our dog Pocket in NYC and Massachusetts where we've just spent the last 7 years renovating a very run down house from the 1830's. |

| Favorite Music | I like any kind of music. If it's good. I was raised on The Stones, Beatles, Zombies, Kinks, Who, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd etc. All of whom I've seen. But I love live music, new music, current music, classical music. I'm up for listening to anything. |
| Favorite Books | Diceman, Luke Rhinehardt. Anything on crime by Colin Wilson. The Frontiersmen. Allen W Ekcert. Crime and Punishment. Any cookbooks, especially bread and baking books. Anything by the legendary golf writer Bernard Darwin. |
