| Introduction | PhD candidate in the School of Media at Indiana University. I've taught courses that incorporate elements of popular culture and mass media with issues of social justice and cultural change. I'm currently living in Los Angeles working on my dissertation, which covers the history of gays and lesbians in American mainstream news, including the relatively recent media fascination with "bullying" as a way to describe social injustice, especially with regard to LGBTQ people. |
