| Introduction | I love to create. It feels like the universe is expressing itself through me when something comes from my hands and it is perfect. There can be a struggle in the creative process when I try to force creation instead of following it to its own end. When that happens I have to surrender to the moment and really feel the materials I am working with in order to reveal the perfection that was already there. Shape, texture and color crash into my emotions and ideals of form. The result is that I am simply the one lucky enough to be there when this new creation came forth. I feel that I am a midwife for beauty, assisting what was already bursting from the womb of the universe. |
