Introduction	Jim Lyke is a writer based in Milton / Janesville, WI. He has literally been involved with the Janesville Performing Arts Center since Day One, when his first play, “Janesville In Stages,” was the very first show presented there in 2004. Jim has written 10 two-act and 2 one-act plays that have been performed in southern Wisconsin, including "Humbug! The Musical" with music by Broadway composer Christopher Curtis ("Chaplin"). Jim has also written and acted in several short films, most as part of ZenLyke Productions. He wrote the “Lykeminded” column that appeared for two decades in the Janesville Messenger and on Janesville GazetteXtra. His involvement with local theater groups includes appearing on stage as Ernie de Moocher in “Guys On Ice,” the Cowardly Lion in “The Wizard of Oz,” Cogsworth in “Disney’s Beauty & The Beast,” Don Pedro in "Much Ado About Nothing," and three different turns in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Jim has also directed seven radio dramas broadcast live on WCLO-AM, Janesville, and has often subbed as a talk show host there.
