Introduction A Southern lady, born in Memphis, TN.,the youngest girl in a family of four girls and two boys, Mom was of Cherokee descent and Dad was of German descent, I spent many memorable summers in Ms., with my Grandmother, before her death. I now enjoy writing about those many adventures as a youngster, those were wonderful times, with my brother Jerry, and our friends, having started singing and dancing about the age of three, I continued that all through my life, as I taught the Performing Arts, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrotabics, Baton Twirling, and Modeling and Charm, I owned the International Youth Beauty Pageant and Baby Contest System for many years, and assisted in educating the youngsters that worked so hard at their talents, in awarding thousands of dollars in US Savings Bonds, finally, retirement, now I can spend more time just taking care of our homes, traveling with my husband, and visiting with our son and his lovely wife, and my husband's daughter and her family and all our extended families, now I can write, what a beautiful way to retire!
Interests Retired..My main interest now are my husband, my children and their families, my sisters and their families, my brother and his family, my husband's family members, and our visits with all of them, enjoying our winter home in Florida, and our summer home in the mountains of N. Ga., traveling, and sharing my learned knowledge in various areas, with individuals, through my composing, and living my childhood past, through my fictional novels, my first novel, The Gully, came out in 2007 and is still available on Amazon and most book outlets on line and land, I will admit when I started the series of six-novels based on The Summer Adventures of Maggie Sue and Terry D, which are all based on facts combined with my imagination, it was a little intimidating, but for a first time novel-author, The Gully did well, Now my second novel in the series of six will be out in April/2011, also on Amazon and various book outlets on line and land, the other four will follow each year thereafter, I stay very busy with all the above and feel very blessed to be able to enjoy such a God-Given retirement.
Favorite Movies There are way to many to list, so here are just a few, Gone With The Wind, The God-Father Series, The Bells Of St. Mary, West Side Story, The Ten Commanments, The High and the Mighty, True Grit, and To Kill A Mockingbird, I could go on and on, I appreciate a good movie.
Favorite Music I actually like all music. But, I love Sara Brightman, C. Dion, Barbara Strassand, and I appreciate Kelly Clarkston, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and their young talents, B. Crosby was tops for his time, along with F. Sinatra, and I could go on and on, there are so many beautiful songs presented by so much talent, but, my most favorite song of all time, is, Unchained Melody, it has such beautiful memories for me!
Favorite Books There are so many, here are a few, To Kill A Mockingbird, Little Women, Old Yellow, The Little House On The Prairie Series, and to the other side of the coin, From Here To Eternity, The God-Father Series, an old classic, The Good Earth, by Pearl Buck, most recently, Hunting Unicorns, by Bella Pollen, which shows strait forward writing in my opinion, very worthwhile reading, my most read and appreciated book is To Every Thing A Season, by Joyce Sequichie Hifler, who was of Cherokee descent, It is said her goal in writing was to make people happy, that is exactly how I feel, I don't like sad books, I feel the best way to state how I feel when reading over and over To Every Thing A Season, is, it makes me feel worthwhile to have been given the opporunity to take up space on this beautiful earth, then, of course, there is the Bible, that I continue to read, I am also a marketing author, I would not be doing my job correctly if I did not end my favorite books with my oown publications, which again are, The Gully, Beyond Belief, and coming in the near future are The Unforgetable Picnic and The Beauty Within The Maze, and two unnamed as of yet thrilling, loving, humorous, most adventurous, and pure novels for the young reader and their family to enjoy. I consider all of my novels in the series of six to be Family Sagas', each has been and will be continued to be written for the eight-year-old and above young reader, all the way to adult. If you, as a reader, enjoyed my above favorite books, then you will enjoy my novels also.

If your whole body were a hot air balloon, would you stop eating spicy food?

Well, if my entire body was a hot air balloon, I would not have to worry about eating at all, I would just be full of GAS anyway.
