| Introduction | My life is in transition. While I have spent most of my life as volunteer with my children's activites -- room mom, school volunteer, Girl Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, youth advisor at church and teaching early morning religion classes for teenagers, I am now on the verge of being an empty-nester and am facing the new roles of a mother of college students, a grandmother and a mother-in-law. I hope to explore my thoughts and feelings as I confront this transition head on. |
