| Introduction | My name is Mickal “Mickey” Lewis and I started this blog, The Nubian Goddess, back in December 2018. Here’s a little about me: I went to college at Sam Houston State University in the small city of Huntsville, TX, where I graduated with my B.S. in Public Health. I now reside in College Station, TX, working as a Resource and Outreach Coordinator at a non-profit agency and writing for The Nubian Goddess in my free time. Since I am working full-time while also earning my M.P.H., I am almost always found with a book or my kindle within arm’s reach. I’m always looking for something fun and exciting to do since my brain is constantly on go, so my life is generally pretty interesting… which is why I decided to call my blog The Nubian Goddess.
