| Introduction | After starring in Hollywood blockbuster movies with the likes of Robert Redford, Merryl Streep and others, I decided to give it all up to become a technical writer. Or not....I've never actually been to Hollywood and have never met Robert or Merryl...the closest I ever came to Hollywood was spotting celebrities in airports. But, it's a nice fantasy. Now, the truth. Much to my dismay, after earning a BA in Psychology, I got a job as a secretary, which I loathed. I'm sort of a "get your own damn coffee" kind of gal....so, through learning and opportunity over the past 15 + years, I went on to be a computer trainer, training supervisor, did lots and lots of writing during that time and yadda, yadda, yadda, I became a technical writer in an IT group. So, here I am, a technical writer with lots to learn. I don't work with a group of writers so I hope this blog attracts other writers so we can share ideas and information. I hope you will be my "virtual" colleagues. |
