| Introduction | Mark Parker is a native of Otterbein, in South Baltimore, and has been a proud Baltimore boy his entire life. He grew up two blocks from the water of the Patapsco and two blocks from his home church. He graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, the University of Maryland, College Park, and St. Paul's School. He and his wife Christine enjoy sailing ont he Chesapeake, hiking int he Appalachians, and working with teenagers. Around town, Mark has worked for Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland hospitals, the City of Baltimore, and the Downtown Sailing Center. He serves as a pastor to a diverse and exciting area of Baltimore, including the neighborhoods of Patterson Park and Highlandtown. |
