IntroductionBorn in Svalbard and adopted by a walrus prince and incidental heir to the modest Boyardee fortune, John (Jack), author of several novels in the Dutch Amish area of Marietta, Ohio, was forcibly emigrated to the midwestern United States when an ever-growing threat of penguin-anti-polar-bear violence took the form of orca-anti-pinniped attacks masterminded by Greenpeace.
Following numerous months of study (~2) into the non-dynamic, harmonic-auto-dystocic tendencies of cotton thread, he took sabattical in the far north. Again.
He contracted rhubarbia from a live attenuated MMR vaccine and became quarantined in Orkney in Scotland. A cure was never to be had. Fortunately, whisky and the local, mature cheddar proved capable of staving-off, or at least reducing, the attacks of utter incomprehensibility and semi-outrageous outbursts.
To this day he remains troubled by porpoisine nightmares in quarantine but, happily, is well-placated and inebriated in a rather uninhabited area. However, he still maintains (in a rather loud slur) that he as well as his mailing address reside near Broomhill in the north of Glasgow, completely ignoring the several large windmills outside.
