| Introduction | An almost 29-year-old (eek, almost 30-year old!) on a journey to discover the gifts, talents, and ideas God put in her to give to the world (after so many years of living in fear and dread of EVERYTHING!) What I like: taking care of people, mango and plantains (fell in love with both of these while living in the DMV), driving in places I'm not familiar with and finding my way around without GPS (sometimes this gets annoying, though), sitting out in the sun (and yes, I'm African American!) What I don't like: when drivers rev their engines really REALLY loudly...it's SO annoying! Last but not least...I want to know the height, width, and depth of His love! That will take the rest of my life, but hey, what else do I have to do??? |
| Interests | Spending lazy Sunday afternoons visiting friends and family (if that could be a full-time job, I'd be gettin' PAID!!!), learning new hobbies, visitng new places that catch my attention while I'm supposed to be driving somewhere, experimenting with foods while cooking and baking, blogging (of course), proofreading other people's work(yes, I'm an English Nazi...Schnell! Schnell!) |
| Favorite movies | Remember the Titans, Fox and the Hound, A Raisin in the Sun, some musicals...Not a huge movie fan as you can tell. But I <3 the classics. |
| Favorite music | I'm a Fred Hammond fan! But basically I like what I like (I only listen to gospel, but being a teacher, I have to keep up with the latest artists...some I wish I didn't have to hear :( |
| Favorite books | God's Word, Jerry Falwell (His Life and Legacy) by Macel Falwell, and anything else that catches my interest. |
