| Introduction | I consider myself to be a Liberal Democrat. I figured that sounds about right. My biggest political influences include my crazy left-leaning family and, of course, growing up in the very socially liberal city of Austin, Texas. My vast political experiences include voting, once... maybe a long time ago. Aside from being a degree requirement, I am taking this class because I wish to improve my political awareness. It would be nice to not sound like a complete idiot when others attempt to discuss politics with me. I am definitely interested in learning more about some of the political leaders that are very influential in the state of Texas, particularly corrupt political leaders because the drama excites me. I didn't know very much on the "General Knowledge" and "Political Knowledge" quizzes, but now that I know Matthew McConaughey is married, my life is pretty much over. |
