Introduction	Hello there, we are Kate and John Miner. We both turned 50 this year and have decided to celebrate by riding our bicycles across the USA! Why? To deny our age? Perhaps a desperate attempt to hold on to some semblance of youth? Do we harbor some deep rooted insecurity and have something to prove? Or is it just some hairbrained adventure we call a vacation? A chance to get to know our country better and maybe loose some weight. Might as well take advantage of being without pets or children or jobs for that matter, and go do something that people with those things can't do. Who knows? It's most likely a little bit of all of the above. But for better or worse, rain or shine, wind or calm, cold or hot, happy or sad, we are off!!! "Every man dies.
