| Introduction | Yep, I'm doing it...I'm training for Ironman! My quest for Ironman really started a couple of years ago when I watched two of my friends, Dave and Windy Marks race. They truly inspired me and now, a couple years later I've decided that I cannot wait any longer...life is too short to be so fearful so I'm spreading the word. My decision came just short of securing my spot for next years event, however, there is one more chance in November for me to register so please, keep your fingers crossed that I have the opportunity. If all goes well, (I'm using the power of positive thinking), I'll get my spot for Nov 2009. My goal for this blog is simply this, to share my training story with you....not for you, but for me. This is MY accountability. I'm holding my own feet to the fire by sharing with the world that I am going to do the Ironman and I'm taking you with me! |
