Introduction I am a humble rural schoolmaster based in the San Joaquin Valley. I am teacher of languages (English for Learners or AP Spanish) as well as ELL Social Studies. I have also worked at Bakersfield College as an Adjunct Professor, UVA as a University Supervisor. I was the recipient of the 2004 ISI Renshaw Fellowship at the UVA. I hold a New Wine Certificate from the Diocese of Fresno. A military history enthusiast I have published several articles with Military History Magazine. I am the author of one act plays "Clad in Gold Our Young Mary", "Why Weep you by the Tide Ulysses" and other plays as published in Calliope and Cobblestone magazines. My article on Kim Philby is featured in the McGraw-Hill Anthology. I am an accomplished translator of legal documents, campaign literature, and poetry. I hold an MA in Spanish literature, a Bilingual Certificate of Competence and I am a California Certified teacher of English, Social Studies and Spanish. I attended the 2012 AP Spanish Reading in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
