| Introduction | I am a member of a cooperative called Antique Co op in Brentwood, CA where I have been for the past 6 years. In addition to that, I opened my own shop and enjoyed that for 3 years. When my lease was up and so was my rent (it jumped $600/month!!) I happily went back to just the co op! I forgot how nice it is to work 2 days a month rather than 7 days a week!! There is always a silver lining! Anyway, What I love to do is refinish furniture, especially the pieces that most think are too far gone to survive. When I am out in my workshop is when I am most at peace. That space and my craft room truly represent my sanctuary. I lose track of all sense of time, and all is right with the world! |
