| Introduction | I'm a wife, mother and (gasp) grandmother. I have a strong interest in art and design. I spent some time in the 80's freelancing as a commerical artist, and a lot of time raising a family. Four kids, three girls, one boy. My oldest daughter died on August 31, 1997 of metastatic melanoma just 4 months after diagnosis, and 5 years after a mis-diagnosis by a dermatologist. The worst of times. Spent a few months in my pajamas. Finally began to get back to life after realizing in a profound way that my family NEEDED me. I've always felt that my loss was meaningless unless I could find a way for others to benefit from my experience. With a journal that anyone can use to write their loved one's story, I hope to allow a sense of Peace for anyone who has lost a loved one.
