| Introduction | I am a writer who has decided to explore the realms of blogging. I am also an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy, or speculative fiction as it is often called today. My current home is in the American Midwest with my wife, Rihoko, son, Christopher, and daughter, Nanami. Rihoko and I met while I was teaching English to Japanese high school students for two years. During that time I also conquered Mt. Fuji and started learning the Japanese art of Kyudo, or archery. Christopher is four and half and Nanami is about one and half years old. Using this blog I hope to maintain a connection to the craft of writing and become acquainted with other aspiring writers and artists of all forms.
