Introduction	Teaching I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Professional Communications Farmingdale State College. So far, I have helped over 50 students see their work published in the local media, from local newsweeklies to the New York Times. Scholarship PhD candidate, Old Dominion University (2021), Writing, Rhetoric, and Discourse Studies. Technology I have worked in IT for over 30 years, mostly as a technical writer, but early on I had worked as an Office Automation Specialist, an Analyst, and a Project Manager. Before entering IT I spent five years as a consumer electronics buyer.
