| Introduction | I have been sketching and painting since 2001. Before that I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler. By 2011 I had painted approximately 20 large paintings, as well as lots of small ones. But I haven't done anything with them, other than share them with close family and friends. My sisters are telling me it's time to share my talent with the rest of the world. My art teacher tells me it's therapy and I should use it to help my mood and pain levels every day. Now I "art" every day. I art journal, I bible journal, I paint, I sketch, and sometimes I combine all of those things together. Some days its only for a few minutes, some days I get lost in the process and discover delight in hours of work. Art is a true blessing in my life. God is so good. |
