| Introduction | This blog was born from a recommendation by the YASC as a tool to involve others in my mission while in Colombia. I started posting entries with resistance and doubt about exposing my thoughts on the internet. Writing this blog quickly became my way of expression and connection to those who were so far away. Fall 2009 returning home, family and friends embraced me with an endless supply of unconditional love and patience as I plowed my way through a year of transition. I was encouraged to continue writing. However, I thought it silly to continue to write on a blog that was originally founded on premise that I would be tromping around in the adventure lands of Colombia, trying to suppress and/or cure my strong addiction to wanderlust. So back in Spokane, once again, I resisted. Now, I realize adventurewithaudra does not need to be limited to exotic travels, because the truth is, every day is an adventure and absolutely worth writing about. I hope you enjoy these elements of inspiration and moments of distraction. |
