Occupation college professor, retired; GLBT; bridge-builder
Location Center/Glenwood Springs/Teotecacinte, Colorado/Nueva Segovia in Nicaragua, United States
Introduction I retired last December after 25 years as a community college professor and headed directly to my adopted second city, Teotecacinte, Nicaragua, on February 1, 2008, to begin a 3 month trip developing my properties there and being with my bonded family of campesinos, the Betancos, the best people in the world except, of course, for you. Now that it's May, I'm back in Colorado, freezing in Arriba--"Up There" as the States are called in Teote. After a month with little Internet access, I will be sharing my dailies from Colorado for a spell. Thanks for your interest. Don Douglas Betanco, caballero de Nicaragua y Arriba
