Introduction	The BBBC was started in 2005 by former member Rob in response to the fact that his wife was already in a single-gender book club (see, they started it). There are currently nine of us: Andrew, Mark T, Mark W, Chris W, Chris B, Richard, Steve, John and Willm. We sadly lost one of our founder members, Ras, to cancer in 2014. We have read and discussed more than 150 books, each of which we have marked out of ten (because we're blokes). And recorded in a spreadsheet for the same reason. We meet once a month to discuss a book that one of us has chosen in rotation. We generally get between five and eight along to a meeting, which is about right for a big pub table (on the rare occasions we're able to get into a pub these days). Otherwise we tend to meet in somene's garden (summer) or by Zoom. Read our notes here, disagree with our scores and join the debate - whatever your gender! SOME REVIEWS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.
