Introduction	In all that I do, I try to share la joie de vivre, especially with my grandchildren and my Camboodian friends. The time I spend with my grandchildren is filled with everyday pleasures, lessons, and adventures. In Cambodia, I volunteer to teach conversational English through sewing workshops. I promote higher education by securing scholarships. The irony in all this is that I awake each morning, expecting to serve but find that my "students" give me so much more than I give them.
