Introduction	I am a 36 year old African-American female who hails from Houston, TX. I was born November 6, 1969-Scorpio. I do not smoke nor do drugs. I drink occassionally when I go out to eat-Daquiries, margaritas, pina-colodas, ameretto sours-you get the idea. I work in the security field. I attend Trinity Gardens Church of Christ in Houston, TX.
Interests	Love poetry/spoken word, art museums/galleries. Reading good novels by various African-American artists. Traveling, shopping, trying new restaurants, watching and going to movies. Sometimes just going to shoot pool is cool too. I am opened to trying new things. I also enjoy sitting with good company at Barnes and Noble or Borders Bookstores and sipping on one of my favorite Starbucks drink either enjoying a good book or having an in-depth discussion on various topics. My interests are many and they may vary. What I don't have interest in is non-sense. That goes especially for a lot of the music played on mainstream radio. I don't like non-sense people either-well I don't deal to well with them rather. My interests over the last 8 years have been more cultural and artsy.
Favorite movies	The Departed, Stomp the Yard, 16 Blocks, The Sixth Sense, Drumline, Honey, Save the Last Dance, Dreamgirls, Pursuit of Happiness, 12 Angry Men, Shrek, God Almighty, Radio, The Fighting Temptations, Preaching to the Choir, Daddy's Little Girls. I may be adding more as they come to mind.
Favorite music	Big fan of independent music. Lover of jazz, rock, neo-soul, hip-hop. Really enjoy listening to Eric Roberson's music. I like quite a bit of mainstream artists as well, but within reason only. I like a lot of the music by Mario, Usher, Babyface, some of the music by R. Kelley. I recently purchased 3 Eric Roberson CD's-Esoterica, The Vault 1.5, and Left. I have been waiting too long for just one Eric Roberson CD. Been wearing The Vault 1.5 out since then.
Favorite books	Enjoy books by Zane, Eric Jerome Dickey, Kimberla Lawson-Roby,Marilyn Morrison, Mary B. Monroe, Travis Hunter-currently reading one of his novels as I type this. I may be adding more as they come to mind.
