Introduction I started making jewellery in 1972 while living in Spain under Franco's dictatorship. Myself and some friends would travel to the Canary Isles, buy duty free radios, watches and what have you, bring them back to Toromelenos where we had an apartment and from there take this stuff down to Marakesh, hitch hicking all the way and exchange it for trade beads from the Burbas. Take these beads back to Spain, make them into mackramay bracelets and sell them to the tourists. Easy money! Thirty years later and having been made redundant for the second time I thought back to my hippy days and started making bangles and necklaces and selling them at car boots. Well people loved them and so did I, so now I sell a much grander range to shops in Bristol and Dorset, where we live in the summer, and at markets and craft fairs. You can see some example on my google album at http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/abbybeads just paste link into your browser and sit back and be wowed. Will add more as summer goes on, might even try a blog if I can figure out what they are. Get in touch if you want to chat or if you have any questions. Regards Ron
