| Introduction | Daaimah Mubashshir is a playwright living in Manhattan. Her plays have been seen at Fire This TimeFestival, Manhattan Rep. Theatre, The PlayRise Festival and a number oftheatres in Chicago. Recently: Rum forSale as a part of Columbia Stages New Plays Now Festival and Not In This Roomat the Obie winning Fire This Time Festival. Other plays include Night of Powerand Clay. Including her current role as Associate Curator of the Star Reading Series, Daaimah has also played the role of Assistant Director on Soho Rep.& Playco’s generations by debbie tucker green and New York Theatre Workshop’s The Invisible Hand by Ayad Aktar.
