Introduction	I am a husband and a father of 3 girls. I have worked in the field of social services for over twenty years having worked extensively with the homeless and families in crisis. I have worked many years trainings individuals and families to set and achieve goals to become more self reliant. I have also worked in mentorship programs with youth and have been a Boy Scout leader. I have also spent significant time in restaurant management. My native Pacific Northwest holds a special place in my heart. I am an avid hiker and over the years I have logged 6230 miles in the Olympic Mountains and surrounding forests. The wilderness experience is an almost sacred experience for me and it is out in nature where I do my best thinking. My other interests include learning and personality theory (I am an Abstract-Sequential INFJ), presidential biographies, cooking, and gardening (vegetables – I do not do well with flowers). Most of all I love the Lord and I strive everyday to be the kind of man he would have me be. I fail some days, but his grace is sufficient and I get back up and try again.
