| Introduction | I am an avid fiber artist and reader. I quilt, sew, crochet, knit, weave, etc. Anything to do with fibers and I'll give it a try. My mother was the talker in our family and I was known as the quiet one who kept to the background in most places. I made things run but wasn't showy about it. I found out recently that I love to talk, quite a surprise for my relatives. Also quite a surprise for them that I can't be run over or pushed around. I have cement feet when I don't want to go in a direction they've decided upon. I can still be surprised by folks I thought I knew, but that's life. I've become a teacher of fiber arts in crochet and knitting. I have lots of arthritis, but have learned ways around it so I can enjoy my crafts, I pace myself and use creative ways to do what I do. |
