| Introduction | I am a retired submariner. I served on 5 boats, starting with an original "41 For Freedom" boomer, transitioning through 637 class and unique fast boats, to a 688 class (Flight 1) SSN, and ending my sea-going career on a 726 class boomer. I have served as a Division LCPO, a Command Career Counselor, a Recruiter, a Recruit Company Commander (RDC for you young pups), and a prototype Leading Crew Chief. Politically, I'm really down on the 2 party system. The spirit of cooperation and compromise has been lost, seemingly forever. We seem to be down to an US vs. THEM mentality. It's time for a shakeup of the political system. |
