| Introduction | I first found out about the Parish Council through a placement for my degree course with the Countryside Project back in 1997. I was elected in 2003 as Independant SOS, SOS standing for Save our Scissett. This was as part of a campaign to stop a massive development of new houses and supermarket in Scissett.
