| Introduction | I was born and raised in the inner-city of Philadelphia. I am an only child who was raised by a strong and dedicated mother. I married my beautiful wife, Carol, in 1990 and we both came to know the Lord in 1991. We have three sons, all of whom we home school. In 1989, at age eighteen, I enlisted in the United States Navy. One marriage, three children, eleven years, and four deployments later, I decided to leave the Navy due to too much time spent out to sea, away from family. I joined the Navy Reserve and became a Correctional Officer in the civilian sector. Two years later, I was given the opportunity to continue my Navy career as a Navy Career Recruiter, which I continue to do today. I am a Biola University graduate and today, between balancing family and work, I squeeze in time in graduate work at Central Michigan University. |
