| Introduction | I am a European gal who grew up in a boring, conservative farming village in the Austrian Alps. When I was 23 years old, I had the opportunity to move to Los Angeles, California where I lived from 2001-2011. I came to the US for my husband who is a native Angelino. After five years of marriage, we decided to part ways and I started to explore the city as a single gal. Since 2001, I have had numerous experiences that I would like to share with readers. Whether you dream of living in L.A. (or America) or whether you are from the US yourself. These experiences include marriage, divorce, graduating from college, health issues, the loss of my beloved dog, friendship, betrayal, the corporate working world and more.
