| Introduction | Primary school art teacher by day, aspiring artist by night. I have swithered and dabbled with various arts and crafts for years, from beadwork to felting to jewellery. Finally got the energy and courage up to devote my free time to producing more artwork, I am finding myself consumed by it. I'm fascinated by collage, creating textures and incorporating ephemera, vintage images and image transfers into my work, and combining these with paint to create vintage inspired images. My inspiration mainly comes from vintage photography, especially that of gypsy or musical culture, and nomadic lifestyles. |
