| Introduction | Hi, Welcome to The Bead Farm! I'm glad you stopped by! I'm Becky, a farmer's wife from north central Iowa. I love everything about living on the farm! Operating the combine during harvest season. Gardening in my vegetable and flower gardens. Playing with my grandchildren in the big open yard and teaching them about things on the farm. And now there's something new to love on the farm- beading! I've always had my hand in something that calls for creativity. Making videos, writing skits / dramas, making homemade greeting cards, designing and creating Christmas ornaments, and losing myself completely in digital scrapbooking! Recently I have discovered a love for creating jewelry. When I sit down at my cleared work bench, I feel like an artist staring at a blank canvas, imagining the endless possibilities ahead with combinations of colors, textures, styles, shapes and sizes! There is a satisfying sense of accomplishment with each finished piece. |
