IntroductionI am currently a Middle School Language Arts Teacher at a New Jersey school, finishing my Master of Arts in Teaching, focusing on Language Arts and Literature. I try to make the right decisions for myself at the time that I am making the decisions, and I attempt to always lead by example. I question everything, and have learned a lot due to my questioning. I teach Language Arts and Literature to students and for students. Favorite quote: "Whatever the waste, stupidity, ineptitude, whatever the problems and frustrations of teachers and pupils, something very exciting is going on. In each of the classrooms on each of the floors all at the same time education is going on. In some form or other, for all its abuses, young people are exposed to education. That's how I manage to stand up. And that's why you're standing too." ~Bea from Up the Down Staircase
InterestsReading, writing, music, my wonderful husband, being less than perfect, my kitty-cats.
Favorite moviesCouples Retreat, Role Models, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You, Man, Four Christmases, Step-Brothers, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, The Crow, ANYTHING with Johnny Depp in it....
Favorite musicAll things Dave Matthews Band (even though they sold out), all things country (even though everyone in this area of the world makes fun of me because of it), anything I can drive fast to, anything with a latin beat, anything that could be on a soundtrack of my life, anything that can make me understand the meaning behind all of this, anything that sings poetry.

You have a red jar of cedar chips. Why do moths miss the forest?

The forest is comfortable and friendly. The moth had many friends in the forest - the trees, the bubbles in the streams. She could rest on a deer and find herself in a whole new dimension, nestled in the fuzz.
