| Introduction | As you will no doubt see immediately, I am a novice at blogging. I decided to open this site as an experiment, to display some photographs that I inherited from my grandfather -- a veteran of WW2 in the CBI Theater, 1944-1945 (began service in 1943). I am attempting to identify his photos for posterity, and to hopefully contact other living family members of CBI veterans who may be seeking information -- and who may have photos of your own. This site and the process of identifications are works-in-progress. I have already spent quite a lot of time on the project, and wish to reach out to others to share information. I have placed my school email address on the top of the site, and I will also open the site’s comments feature to invite your replies, and perhaps to converse with anyone who has an interest in this topic or these featured individuals.
