| Introduction | Born in Mexia, Texas and raised in Garland, a suburb of Dallas, until 14. From 14-25. I lived in Wichita, Kansas, and graduated from both High School and College there. My undergraduate degree, from Wichita State University (74), is in English Literature, and my Master's degree is from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas (95). In 1976 I moved from Kansas back to Dallas to begin a career as a freelance writer and entertainer. This grew to establishing my own advertising firm (1979 - 1986). In 1986 I entered the ministry at my home church - Northway Baptist Church of Dallas - and in 1989 I was privileged to plant (start) the ParkwayHills Baptist Church, where I still serve today as pastor today. |
