Introduction	We are a group of people from around the world who speak English as a second (other) language. We are ESL students at Durham Technical Community College in Durham, North Carolina. We use the academic computer program Blackboard in our Advanced ESL American Civics class to meet our goal of improving our English and learning about the United States. We have a curiosity about the American way of life, its history, and culture. This blog documents our experience and can be a guide to internationals who may be interested in moving to the United States or are just curious as we are.
