Introduction	www.DoreensKitchen.com www.ChicagoMenusOnline.com I have worked in restaurants for over 20 years wearing many hats from server to GM to demi chef (aka sous). I love the alchemy of food, and of course cooking for friends, family and larger parties. I don't always cook gourmet. Sometimes a simple meal like sloppy joe's with corn on the cob is great as well. Other times when the mood strikes me, I'll get into the full swing from garnishing and putting exquisite touches to make even the simplest of meals beautiful. Having worked so many years in restaurants, I know it is easy to prepare meals for just one person--thus this blog
