| Introduction | We are the BSU Chapter of Free the Children - an international organization that frees children from poverty, frees children from exploitation, and frees children from the idea that they are powerless to change the world. They have built over 600 schools and have worked in over 45 countries! Our chapter of Free the Children is a group of college students who are passionate about changing the world. Our purpose this year is to raise awareness about child rights around the world as well as raise money towards building a school in Sierra Leone Free the Children works in the Kono District—a region completely destroyed during the 10 year civil war and is in urgent need of schools.
